As we battled week in and week out for our second year of the dynasty league, this year was quite the interesting finish. It was looking grim towards the second half of the season this year with 4 teams all 7-7, unsure if they wanted to sail through the consolation bracket or try and put up a fight against top contenders like Cam, Kev, and Sam.

With almost all the teams beat up with this year’s injury plague, this playoff season was a cutthroat battle. Sam and Cam, the new owner of the Cmoney squad, sat comfortably with their bye weeks waiting to see which contender would step up to face them in the following game. Nolan squeezed by Josh with a mere 8 point victory in the first round and Kevin battled it out with Collin and took the victory with Sam Laporta and Cooper Kupp leading the charge. Cam assumed he had an easy challenge, facing a 7-7 injury plagued CityBoyNol, but what he wasn’t ready for was Nolan’s best scoring game to date putting up 194 fantasy points (most in league history) to smash his ticket into the finals to face the returning runner up, Kloegy! Kev managed to squeeze by Sam even with starting a hurt Keenan Allen in his lineup.

Another battle of youth versus experienced, youth pulled it out once again as Jalen Hurts and James Connor put up over 25 points each against a beat up Kloegy team. With a score of 121.30 to 100.92, Nolan takes home his very first Dynasty (and Fantasy Football) Championship! Congrats little bro. Kevin hopes to maintain some youth in an aging team, as he scratches the surface in another year of nearly taking home the trophy. It might be time for some big off-season moves from the veteran, but time will only tell.

Cam takes home the bronze, for his anger of losing to a 7-7 team enraged him so much he felt the need to prove his teams power with a 178.38-110.78 point victory over Sam. Congrats on third place to the first year team (although, he did take over the powerhouse of a team from our previous champion.) I’m sure we’ll see Cam back in the playoffs next year ready to claim the throne.
